Q.Japanese Blueberry Trees
Live in Las Vegas, been noticing that my trees have peeling and shedding bark

I found a couple references that said Japanese blueberry tree has exfoliating bark. And the bark beneath is gray and smooth, it doesn't look diseased or insect ridden.
Be sure they are getting moderate water. I am not sure what is on either side of the tree in the photos but if they are more trees, they are likely too close. Japanese blueberry's width can be from 15 to 30 feet.
