Q.Japanese Iris

Zone5 I’d like to transplant some Japanese iris – wondering if it’s too late. We had 29° last night, but it’s not predicted to go below freezing for another few weeks.

Usually, you would do this in early fall. It would be better now than waiting, but it comes with a risk of cold damage. I would make sure to mulch well with your choice of mulch to avoid that.
