Japanese Blood Grass

Should one cut Japanese Blood Grass back in the winter or spring? I cut most of my grasses back in the winter but could not find anything related to this on your website. Would appreciate your guidance.

Thank you,

Diane

According to my research, the best time to cut these back is in early spring before it shoots new growth. It is best to leave the growth on until then. Here is an article with more information on the care of the grass: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/foliage/japanese-blood-grass/care-of-japanese-blood-grass.htm [1]
