Q.Jalapeno peppers

Zone Chandler AZ | Nicpic72 added on November 6, 2014 | Answered

If I cover my outdoor jalapeño plants during freezes in winter, will they survive? I can’t really dig them up to bring them indoors, as they are full grown. Also, it would probably kill them if I tried to do that.

I'm afraid that if you are in any zone below 9, you're going to need to bring the pepper in for the winter. (Find your zone here: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/planting-zones/
Jalapenos especially don't like cold, so keep them in a warmer spot indoors. These articles will tell you more: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/vegetables/pepper/overwintering-peppers.htm
