Q.jade/money plant problem

Zone norfolk | bry25 added on March 7, 2016 | Answered

I have 2 jade plants, approx 10-15 yrs old. They’ve always been very healthy, until recently. One is still perfect but the other started to not look great about 8 weeks ago. Since then, the stems/branches are shriveling and breaking off even though the leaves appear fine until the branch snaps off. Inside the break, it is a kind of dark brown. It is spreading quite fast. Both get watered together and both pots have drain holes in the bottom. I have attached pictures of the healthy one and of the ‘sick’ one. ANY help will be really appreciated!

Hi, for some reason my pics aren't showing!!
I haven't watered for about 3 months. Soil is slightly damp NOT wet though. As I said , I have two and are about the same dampness. I can't see any other differences.

Make sure that you have not overwatered your plant.
Check the soil to see if it needs water instead of watering on a schedule.
