Q.Jade Plant Pruning

Anonymous added on August 11, 2011 | Answered

My jade plant has 4 separate trunks and was growing tall and thin – about 18 inches tall each. To widen it out, I pruned it across the top and new stems are growing. The lower leaves are large. Will the new ones be as large? If the new growth doesn’t match the existing, can I prune off all of the lower leaves so the new growth is all there is? If yes, should I wait until all the new growth reaches a certain point before pruning the lower or when is the best time?
