Q.Jade plant outside.

Zone Dauphin, manitoba, canada | Maxwelljames added on June 14, 2017 | Answered

Hey. Where I live the night time temperatures have been above 10 degrees C so I put my large jade outside. It has been raining for 2 days now. The day time temperatures have been 18C-20 C and at night they get to 11C on average. It looks like it will be cloudy and off & on rain for the next week. I was wondering if I should bring it inside to dry out or let it stay outside and cover it with an umbrella from a patio set? I’m scared it will get root rot if it stays outside..

That is a beautiful jade plant. If you are concerned about root rot, take it indoors when a lot of rain is expected. The cloudiness and time spent indoors will also help prevent it from getting sunscald from not being used to so much sun. This article may help
