I am looking for assistance pruning (?) my jade plant. Please see the attached photos, one of them has a better explanation that I posted elsewhere . I know i can propogate the new green stemmed bits, but can i do that with the larger parts that already have bark? It looks like it is growing roots out of the branches, and i think one branch has actually rooted itself.

Where the plant overhangs in two stems, I suggest removing the woody stem on the right of the joint and cutting that into smaller pieces to root. Discard the woody pieces. The stem on the left of the overhang, you could trim by about half. Here is how:
