Healthy and mature Jade plants will flower when the daylight is the shortest, that is winter for most of us.
Fertilize the Jade once a month during the spring and summer. Do not fertilize in the winter.
In spring in summer, water the plant once a week throughly.
In the winter change watering to once a month.
During the winter months move the plant to a colder location, long, cold nights help stimulate flowering.
If it doesn't bloom, it needs colder temperatures-but never colder then 40 degrees F.
Cut the light back during the winter, to much light and it will not flower.
Aim for 10 to 12 hours of darkness each night.
