Q.Jacksonville Sod Choice

MKaiser added on August 22, 2012 | Answered

I am planning to sod my lawn in the next few weeks and have been looking at Zoysia or Floratam St. Augustine. The area is full sun for 6-8 hours of the day. Is Jacksonville a good climate for Zoysia? I tried centipede and it didn’t go very well.

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, zoysia is a warm-season grass and would thrive in southern areas(presuming you are referring to Florida).
