Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe recent freeze in Central Florida has caused two of the three Ixora plants to loose a significant amount of leaves. The wood is still flexible but probably 60% bare. Will they rebound? Will new leaves grow or should I prune them back to where there are leaves. This would be about 12 inches. Or should I start over and buy new?

Heavy pruning should be done in late winter or early spring.
I would hold off on cutting back the plant, since it was so stressed. If cold weather should return, leaving the plant as is can actually protect it.
