How can one remove ivy suckers from a texture painted rendered wall without harming the paintwork or the render?

This can be done, but it will require multiple steps over a week or two time period. First cut the ivy at the base and let it dry out for a few weeks. It will be easier to get off, then. Once dry, gently peel off the vines from the top down. Use a soft-bristled brush to scrub off any remaining residue, and for stubborn suckers, apply warm soapy water or a vinegar solution to loosen them before scrubbing. Rinse the wall with clean water afterward to remove any residue. This method helps preserve the paintwork and render while effectively removing the ivy.
