Q.Italian Peppers Are Not Blooming

Italian peppers not blooming. Very hot, dry summer. Any advice?

Yes, the heat could very well be affecting the peppers. Just in case, I would provide some phosphorus to the plants, like bone meal. They may have a bit too much nitrogen in the soil, which would keep them from flowering and the phosphorus will counter that.
