Crape Myrtle has not lost its leaves

It is March and my Crape Myrtle has not lost its dead leaves. My Crape Myrtle is 30 years old and I never had a problem. This year it has not shed its dead leaves. What can I do?

At this point, probably the best idea is patience. When spring growth starts, if the new growth doesn’t look right, you could start some soil testing and/or looking for insects or disease.
