I know this flower needs full sun and is drought tolerant, but other than that I don’t remember the name of the plant.

I'm sorry, I can't identify the type of plant; and I'm sorry to say, it looks like it has died off.
This time of year the greenhouses have lots of sales on annuals, maybe a trip to replace the lost plant!
