E-Coli and Compost

Is there a risk of producing E-coli when making compost tea with store bought compost?

Most composts sold in nurseries are heated sufficiently to kill any harmful bacteria, making these products safe for use in gardens. That said, if you would feel more at ease making your own compost, this is an option too.
