Q.Is There Anything That Can Be Done To Prevent A Fig Tree From Bearing Fruit?
I love my fig tree but not the figs. My fig tree produces a moderate amount of figs each year. Last year for some reason unknown to me it didn’t produce any fruit. It was great! This year it made up for lost time and produced thousands of figs. The tree is about 20’ tall with a big spread. Is there anything I can do to reduce or eliminate fig production? I really don’t want to cut it down. The figs have become quite a nuisance.
