Q.Is There A Way To Test My Veg Garden Soil For Fungus Before Planting
Last year my cucumbers and squash developed a funk, no pests. I used everything I could but no help. Okra, peppers and tomatoes were OK. Can a fungus live thru a S. IN. Winter.

Yes, there is a possibility of a diseases overwintering, and yes there are ways to stop it!
There are several things that I would do, as well, while you are at it. I would make sure to check soil fertility, and drainage, too! There are tests that you can do at home, or special places that will analyze it for you, if you send it to them.
