Is there a selective weed killer for flower gardens?

I am fighting re-occurence of small weeds within a couple days after weeding. Outside of laying out weed-block fabric is there a one shot spray to prevent weeds?

Wouldn’t that be convenient!? Luckily, there are some things that work pretty well as long as you have the proper selective herbicide for the particular weed in question. It will likely not be a one-time application, but it will start you in the right direction.
