is there a benefit to working used coffee grounds into ground around pants in ground?

have different plants in ground in front of my house and have heard that used coffee grounds was good to work into ground around them. Y or N?

Testing done on whether coffee grounds help acidify the soil do not show much, if any effect on pH. Most of the acid leaches into the beverage.
