Is the Persian shield plant poisonous to cats?

I have a house cat and only have non poisonous plants inside. Would love to have this plant,but can not find out if it’s toxic.

Though I can’t find anything specific to cats on this plant; it is listed as poisonous to people; can cause contact dermatitis-do not ingest.
I would advise you not let your cat eat it and consult your vet.
