Q.Is Something Wrong With This Green Bell Pepper?

Zone Zone 6a | www100 added on August 6, 2024 | Answered

This is the biggest, best-shaped pepper I’ve picked so far, but there are tiny black prickles or specks on the bottom, and light-colored rings surrounding additional black specks on the sides. Is it moldy or diseased on the inside? Is it edible?

Just like your tomatoes, this will be some sort of blight. This carries the same treatment of keeping the area sanitary and using fungicides.
