Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI am new at gardening but have 2 beautiful pink peony plants on a rock bed in front of my house. Last year they had so many weeds and got terribly waterlogged, and also think they may have gotten that disease where they turn sort of black. I want to have them look beautiful this year so I bought plant grids to help them stay upright and need help getting rid of the weeds. Also is the rock bed a bad foundation or should they be in mulch ?

Preen should be safe but you have to get rid of the weeds first. Then mulch. Then apply the Preen. Rock mulch has advantages and disadvantages. Here is more:
