Q.Is My Wisteria Dead?

Mary Beth added on June 17, 2011 | Answered

My wisteria vine is approximately ten years old and has done beautifully until now. About three months ago, it began to bud for leaves. Within a few days, we got VERY (10-25 degrees farenheit) cold weather lasting for several weeks. My wisteria remains completely bare with the buds still in place.

It may not be dead. With the odd weather this year, some wisteria have been delayed in leafing out. This article will help you determine if it is dead (but I doubt that it is):

I would give it a little more time. As long as it is still green, it will eventually grow leaves.
