Q.Is My Tomato Plant Dying?

Zone 46077 | Anonymous added on June 26, 2021 | Answered

Hi there. I’m new to gardening and planted a tomato in a pot this spring. It’s growing like crazy- 5 ft tall, but I’ve noticed these yellow leaves near the bottom. I’m hoping it doesn’t have one of the “wilt” diseases I googled, but I really can’t tell. Can you identify what’s wrong? Pics attached. Thanks kindly, Jayne

The necrosis is probably nutrient deficiency, since it seems that the bottom leaves are showing symptoms. Tomatoes will be considered very heavy feeders, so make sure to feed according to your tomato feed instructions.
