Q.Is my spruce dying?

Nadakaraja added on May 27, 2019 | Answered

I believe my gardener accidentally might have gotten weed killing chemicals on my spruce tree and I am devastated. Can it still be saved?

Uh-oh. It is definitely not happy, and does resemble weed killer damage.

If it does happen to live through this, it will never look the same, and will not recover the dead growth. It will simply grow in a different spot and those patches will remain bare.

I would say that you will want to look into replacing the tree with one similar in height and stature if you want it to remain uniform.
