Is My Hibiscus in Shock?

What can I do for it now? I moved from NJ to Wisconsin and I brought my hibiscus plant with me. I put it outside in full sun when it got warmer around may 15th. . . . but didn’t realize how chilly it could still get at night. The leaves wilted and turned white and I brought it back inside and cut off all of the white and yellowed leaves (all but a few). Has my hibiscus gone into shock? Will it be ok? Is there anything special I can do for my plant?

It sounds like it got sunscald. This happens when the plant is not properly acclimated before being placed outside. This article will help you with that for next year:
