I planted my tree two months ago but it has been dropping brown spotted leaves. There is new growth but I’m afraid it has a fungus.

It could be fungal or bacterial leaf spot. Clean up any fallen leaves and discard them in the trash, and do not splash water on the leaves.

What looks concerning is in the photo it looks like your tree is planted too deeply. It may just be the angle of the photo. It should not have been planted any deeper than it was in the nursery pot.
