Is My Desert Rose Okay??

Question

I’ve had one desert rose before and it did not do this. I did not remove any arms, it did this by itself. It flowered once and then decided to take on a live of its very own. It’s getting so tall it can’t support it’s weight by itself!

It may be reaching for the light. Can you give it full sun? If you want it bushier, you can prune it. Here is how:
