Q.Is it too late sow seeds outdoors for lettuce, cabbage, and other leafy vegetables

Zone 07960 | Anonymous added on September 6, 2020 | Answered

I live in Northern New Jersey about an hour outside of NYC. I have seeds for lettuce, cabbage, spinach, and other leafy greens. I am putting the seeds in tomorrow, September 5. Should I just not bother or go for it?

You are in USDA planting zone 6. Our experts say you can plant into late summer, so I'd say go for it right away.
