Q.Is It Safe To Eat Out Of Your Garden If You Found Maggots In Soil.
I just planted some seedlings and found two maggots in the compost I didn’t see any others and just destroyed the two and still used the compost (I know that was a mistake now). Is it still safe to eat the vegetables in the garden? I am planning on using Diatomaceous Earth and beneficial nematodes to fix the problem does anyone have any suggestions?

Maggots only eat rotting material. They will not, typically, harm your plants unless they are root maggots, specifically.
If this is the case, you can simply treat for root maggots.

They will not make your crops unsafe for consumption, though. You can still eat them.
