Is it safe to eat my tomatoes?

Our lawn-maintenance company sprayed some weed-control product on our tomato plants when they were about two-feet tall. They looked wilted for a few days then sprang back to life. Now tomatoes are ready for the picking, but I’m a little afraid to eat them or share them with neighbors. The tomatoes are beautiful, by the way.

Since the plants lived and continued growing, the weed control was likely just an overspray.

The likelihood of any herbicide still on the plant or on the fruit is very small.
I would wash the tomatoes well and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
