Q.is it okay to prune after apricot tree has finished

Is it okay to prune a few branches after the apricot tree has finished bearing fruit and the fruit has been picked?

The simple answer to this is, yes. The more complicated answer is yes, but it is best to wait until winter time, when the sap is down. Jan. or Feb. are best.
