Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI understand you shouldn’t transplant them this time of year but from my understanding that is due to the roots being fragile. So I’m still a little confused on weather or not it’s alright to just plant a new bleeding heart plant in july

If the bleeding heart is in a container it can be planted anytime, however, they are usually dormant right now. During the heat of the summer, the foliage withers and yellows and they retreat to the soil till spring.
