Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in the Pacific NW therefore I keep my Bird indoors in front of a partial sunny window. When I got it as a gift in April it was 13” tall. It is now over 28” and it is beautiful. I’ve moved it from the small pot that it came, to a little larger pot, being very careful of the roots. I’m reading information on how to care for it. Is my keeping a grow light above it and a heating pad around the outer pot, going to disrupt its seasonal growing cycle? I am a retired senior and have always loved this beautiful plant. Thank you for your help, Tom Gratton

The supplemental light is an excellent idea but not sure you need it 24 hours a day. And the heating pad doesn’t seem necessary unless you keep your home very cool. Here is more information about their care:
