Q.Is it ok to get tomato feed on the tomatoes themselves?

Zone South West England | janice466 added on August 18, 2015 | Answered

We have taken the leaves off our tomato plants to help the fruit ripen, but we still want to feed them. Is it ok to spray the feed on the fruits as well as the roots?

I would not recommend removing the leaves from your tomato plants.

Without know the ingredients of the product your using I can not make a recommendation. I would read the label carefully and determine the correct application.

I do like to use Epsom Salt on my tomato plants and it is completely safe to use on all of the plant and the fruit.
