Q.Is it ok to cut back gardenias this time of year?

Zone Louisiana | Plant Lover added on July 13, 2014 | Answered

These gardenias are big in size, not dwarfs. I’ve had them planted for years and they have reached about six feet in size. I want to cut them way down about halfway so that when they bloom next year they will be full with lots of flowers and won’t be leggy.
