Is it beneficial to Madame Galen to have ants on it?

I’ve noticed ants all over the buds of my Madame Galen that has taken two years to bloom. Will the ants be beneficial or do I need to get rid of the ants?

You may have an infestation of some kind of insects. The insects produce Honeydew, a sticky substance that attracts the ants.

Treat the plant with Neem Oil, this works as both an insecticide and fungicide. It is also safe for people, pets and bees.

Use it weekly until you no longer see the ants.
