Growing Other Things in the Pot With Hibiscus

Is it bad to have other things growing in the pot with your Hibiscus? I have some wild gladiolas and some clovers that popped up in my Hibiscus plant this year, and I’ve noticed it’s not doing as well as it use to. Is it because of the other plants?

It is not bad, but the whole pot will need more water and fertilizer. The more plants in a container, the more competition there is for the limited resources in the pot. You can either increase the amount of water and fertilizer or you can remove the competing plants. Either is fine.
