Chameleon groundcover spreads by underground rhizomes and is considered invasive. You can propagate it by rooting cuttings indoors and wait till spring to plant it outside (after the danger of frost has passed.) If you want to wait till spring you can dig up an existing plant and divide it into smaller sections and replant those. Here is information about Chameleon plants and how to root cuttings. (If the stems have hardened it may be difficult to root them. In spring they will produce softwood that is easier to propagate.)
