Q.Is diluted vinegar water safe for watering a veggie garden? (1/2 C vinegar/approx 4-5 gals of water)

The growing season in our neck of the woods has been very dry. Water is expensive and so we’ve been using previously used indoor water for water. I’ve gone “green” by using vinegar in laundry instead of soaps. Since a machine load of water would only include about 1/2 c vinegar would it be safe to use on veggie plants? Thanks. 🙂
