is daybreak barberry affected by wilt?

There are a lot of red cedar trees around here which makes it almost impossible to grow most barberries.

Although I’ve not seen disease on barberry plants, given the proper conditions, almost any plant can be affected by pathogens. The following link provides information on rusts on barberry: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/plant_health/plant_pest_info/barberry/ ^[1]
