Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted seeds from my irises a couple weeks ago and I don’t know what to do with them. Can I put them in the ground now in zone 8? I live in the lower part of Alabama. They are about 5 inches high.

They do best planted in spring, but fall is also a good time. You are in an area where you will see enough weather above freezing to let them establish some. You may go ahead and plant now if you wish.
