integrating white clover into lawn

Need tips on integrating white clover into a faltering new (post new septic system installation) lawn. Where would I get white clover seeds? How can I seed it without ploughing up the new seeding? What about care going forward and best time to do it?

Seed can be purchased at garden centers or ordered online.
