Q.Inside Tomato Watering
Hi. I am growing a tomato plant inside ( 5 gallon bucket)under a plant light. It already has several small tomatoes on it. I know for most outside plants you should water about an inch a week. So my question is how much water should I be using and how often? I am trying to avoid them cracking which they often do here in Florida because of inconsistent watering due to rainfall. Thank you

Unfortunately, any exact time periods for watering will be inaccurate and should not be followed. Instead, water as the top inch to 2 inches dries, completely. Don't allow any more than that, and do not water before that. This frequency of watering will vary depending on the conditions in the house around the plant.
Water until you see water come out of the drainage holes, then discard all extra water that pools in the saucer.
