DO ROLLY-POLLY BUGS EAT THE LEAVES OFF LILAC BUSHES? IF NOT, WHAT DOES? THANK YOU!
THEIR BLACK & THEY ROLL UP INTO A BALL WHEN YOU TOUCH THEM.

Unless they run out of food in the soil, no. They don't like to be exposed to the sun and air that much. Can you include a photo? This can help me to identify what the pest is.
