Insecticide Dusting

Can Sevin dust or any insecticide burn your vegetation and how do you prevent that?

Anything with an oil base can, under the right conditions. When applying fertilizer or pesticide, it is always best to try to apply it after the plants have been well watered and on a cloudy day to prevent burning.
