Insect Pest Control

Zone Skaneateles New York 13152 | Driscoll added on June 21, 2016 | Answered

I planted begonias in a raised flower bed this year and found that something has eaten the plant stem where it goes into the ground - the begonias look like they have wilted. I dug up one and found some type of insect (see attached photos). I am not sure what it is or how to get rid of them.

Centipedes and Millipedes are generally not an issue, but if they become to populous, they may began feeding on your plants.
