Q.Injured mango tree

amjithps added on May 28, 2016 | Answered

I am from India. I am writing this message to get a help from you regarding my injured mango tree. Photos – https://goo.gl/photos/7qabLbE6mxNfBUj36 (Also photos attached with this mail as well.)

This is a small mango tree about 6-7 years old which was in the land I recently bought. It’s been broken before and now when I checked after few months, I can see this Mango tree has good healthy growth. So I am thinking whether I can save this tree. But I saw the injuries are very serious and I’m still not sure I can save this or not. Can you help me to get some ideas?

Thanks and regards
Amjith

In this case I would recommend an application of a fungicide to help keep infections from the wound.
You should also watch for pests and treat with Neem Oil if needed.
