Indoor Winter Fern Care

gerber added on November 5, 2015 | Answered

Live in NE Ohio, electric heat, relative humidity around 40-50 percent, temp 68F, south or north facing windows, sit in a bed of gravels that evaporate 2 cups a day, water once a week with both well and filtered water, mist daily. Yellow condition of a leaf soon turns into the entire stem dying. Help.

It can be difficult to give ferns the humidity and temperatures that they prefer indoors during the winter months.

Here is a link with care information.
